FAQs

Do I need a dressing aid (lube or powder) for shorts, which are generally shorter than pants?

Yes, lubrication is essential for the thighs and groin. While the lower leg area is exposed, the material still needs to glide smoothly over the hips and the thickest part of the thighs. Apply a generous amount of silicone dressing aid or talcum powder to the interior of the waistband and the inner thigh area.

Should I remove my body hair, particularly on the thighs, before wearing tight latex shorts?

Highly recommended. Hair on the upper thighs and groin will create friction, making the shorts difficult to pull up and risking painful snagging. Shaving or trimming the hair in the areas covered by the latex is strongly advised for comfort and to prevent material stress.

How should I care for the zipper and any pockets on the latex shorts?

Zipper oil and pocket caution. If the shorts have a front zipper, regularly apply a small amount of silicone oil (not dressing lube) to the teeth to ensure smooth operation. Never place sharp objects, keys, or coins in the pockets, as the constant movement and edges will easily pierce or stress the latex.

How should I clean and dry latex shorts to maintain their shape and integrity?

Immediate, cool-water hand wash and air dry. Hand wash immediately after wear in lukewarm water using a mild latex cleaner. After rinsing thoroughly, hang the shorts (preferably from the waistband using a padded hanger) in a dark, well-ventilated space. Never machine wash or machine dry.
